Raw Basil Marinara Pizza Recipe
Pizza Crust
Ingredients:
2 cups flax seeds
1 cup psyllium husk
2 tablespoons of basil/oregano herbs, mixed
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 white onion, chopped
1 handful of sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
Instructions:
1) Blend dried flax seeds in a high-speed blender until you reach a powder consistency.
2) Add all ingredients to the flax powder with some water (1-2 cup2) and blend until you reach a dough-like texture.
3) Spread a thick layer of dough (2cm high) onto a teflex sheet and place into dehydrator. Dehydrate crust for at least 8 hours, then flip it over and cut into personal pizza slices. Once this is done, continue the dehydrating process for another 3-4 hours or until desired crunchiness is achieved.
Basil Marinara Sauce:
2 large tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves of garlic
½ cup of basil leaves
½ cup of sun-dried tomatoes
Instructions for Pizza Sauce:
1) Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until you have a chunky textured sauce.
Pizza Toppings:
3-4 hearts of palm, grated
1 red bell pepper, chopped
How to make the final masterpiece!
1) Place dehydrated pizza crush on a serving dish.
2) Add a thick layer of marinara sauce to the surface of crust.
3) Add toppings to pizza with Italian spice for taste.
