Taking daily walks to absorb the high vibes is now a solid ritual in my routine. It’s helping me feel sane, happy, and free during quarantine.

Nature is medicine to my soul. That’s why we’re having belly rubs on a sun soaked trail. Veda is a happy pup.

Maintaining a high quality of life nowadays is actually quiet doable. This pandemic is forcing us all to get back to the simplest and most meaningful aspects of life.

Quality time with our immediate families, reconnection to nature, and an opportunity to reprioritize our health and self care practices.

There are many self care rituals and practices that radically improve my quality of life daily while in quarantine.

Here are my top quarantine rituals and practices:

✨Mediation – 2-3 times per day for 15 mins each practice to come back to the present moment, reflect on something I’m grateful for, and refocus my mind.

✨20 Mins of Vinyasa Yoga & Pilates Mat before I launch into work to open and align my body.

✨Rebound on a mini trampoline for 5 mins while repeating empowering incantations that focus and clear my mind.

✨Write in my notebook the 5 must do tasks for the day and how I want to feel while doing them.

✨Walk outside for 30-60 mins by myself or with our dogs.

✨Quality time with JP during and after dinner.

✨Respond to friends texts and DMs with voice and video messages to stay connected since we can’t see each other.

✨Put on an outfit and my usual light make up, to work in my home office. This outfit must make me feel amazing and be super comfortable. My work is all online right now, but I still have fun choosing outfits and getting ready for my clients.

✨Make home made meals and try new recipes.

✨Swim in our pool and soak in the sun.

✨Cuddle with our pups as often as possible. The love from dogs is just unparalleled.

✨Ecstatic dance whenever, where ever.

✨30 mins weight lifting in our garage while blasting empowering tunes.

 

Cultivating a high quality of life = true success in my opinion. Our quality of life depends on how we FEEL, regardless of if we’re in quarantine or not.

So, we must think and do the things that help us FEEL fulfilled, passionate, purpose driven, grateful, excited, and free.
