We were craving a massive epic raw vegan pizza here at EpicSelf HQ so we decided to create just that! The most important thing was the crust. To have that delicious, yummy, pizza feel we needed a crust that was thick but still soft. We were able to create a crust that was so similar to traditional thin crust pizza we could hardly tell the difference. Overall our epic pizza was a huge hit and we were so satisfied! Good luck trying this recipe and remember its not delivery, its RAW :).

Pizza Crust Recipe

  • 1 cup Flax Seed
  • 1 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 Head Cauliflower
  • Handful of Basil
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  1. Grind flax seed to a flour consistency using high speed blender and add to large mixing bowl.
  2. Grind sunflower seeds to to same flour consistency and add to mixing bowl.
  3. Use food processor to mix cauliflower and basil into a thick mash consistency and add to mixing bowl.
  4. Mix above ingredients and 1 tbsp of olive oil until you have a dough.
  5. Spread dough on teflex sheet on dehydrator tray.
  6. Dehydrate dough for 4 hours at a temperature of 118 degrees F.
  7. Flip dough and dehydrate for an additional 4 hours and enjoy!

For the pizza sauces we made two different types! We made a pesto sauce and a marinara sauce to give two different flavors.

Pizza Sauce Recpies

Pesto Sauce

  • Basil
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Water
  • Spices To Taste: Pepper, Himalayan Pink Salt

Blend ingredients into high speed blender until desired consistency.

Marinara Sauce

  • 1 Tomato
  • 1.5 Red Bell Peppers
  • Water
  • Spices To Taste: Pepper, Garlic

Blend ingredients into high speed blender until desired consistency.

For the final pizza toppings we added a kale/purple cabbage salad blend, red bell peppers, and sun dried tomatoes. Have fun experimenting with toppings and using one sauce or both!
