Though you will see lots of paradise locations, fun activities, adventures, workouts, and food on my feed, keep in mind what it has taken me to get here. There is no magic wand. I don’t sit on a trust fund. I wasn’t given a family business.
Nothing has ever been handed to me on a silver platter.
Everything I have in my life I have worked very hard for and earned by running the distance far beyond what most people are willing to do.
So when people say, “It must be nice! You are living the dream! I’m so envious,” etc., I smile and nod my head thinking—
If only you knew what it took to get here.
It took decades of unwavering focus, discipline, sacrifice, and facing my fears. Plus a willingness to show up and give 200% despite major failures and setbacks.
If you find yourself comparing yourself to others, take a moment to check in with yourself. Are you putting in the internal and external work to get there? Are you clear with your intentions and taking the small steps necessary daily?
The most fulfilling and rewarding aspects of life are earned.
