I feel so grounded today. Calm, content, happy. While I think munching clean living foods has a lot to do with it, I am uber excited to begin planning my trip to Europe this Spring.
Like I mentioned in my latest Be Epic newsletter Spring Into Action I am slowly turning into a travel hacker and clarifying my future. Lapping the planet in a tin can is quite expensive now days, but there is an entire unseen world of frequent flyer mile programs and expert techniques I’m just now unearthing.
Saving money and traveling more by learning the tricks of the trade is where my mentor Chris Guillebeau comes into play.
Chris is the boundary exploding specialist and travel expert behind the book and website The Art of Non Conformity. He delivers unbelievable inspiration and value to his globe trotting, location independent readers through killer ebooks and programs. His latest endeavor beyond his nationwide book tour is the Travel Hacking Cartel. His way of democratizing free travel. As a member of his cartel he plans to demystify the process of travel hacking. The members will learn how you can go anywhere, anytime.
Here’s the skinny on the main ways Chris and his team help their members:
1.) Regular Deal Alerts sent via email and SMS/text message
(when a big opportunity comes up, our members will be the
first to know)
2.) Tutorials and an extensive Knowledge Base to get people
started (our research showed that most people have no idea
what to do with miles and points… we’ll tell them)
3.) The Refer-a-Hacker Program that pays members 500 Frequent
Flyer Miles for each referral (we’ve tried to make this process
extremely easy everyone has their own referral link directly in
their account settings)
4.) The World’s Greatest Guarantee if members follow our
directions and spend at least 30 minutes a month travel hacking,
they’ll earn enough miles for at least 1 plane ticket every quarter,
or 4 plane tickets a year (we also provide info on how to redeem
miles for great awards)
Number 1 and 4 got me really excited! Enough to dance a lil jig :D. I have a half hour to devote to traveling! If anything it’s just a great way to focus your intention on living life more fully and gaining perspective through travel.
I am a complete newbie at hacking, but what about you? Any tips to share?
